I picked up a 65G non drillled tank a few weeks ago and now Im going to slowly start to turn it into a reef.

I have about 75lbs of dead rock that was bleached and put thru a dishwasher but the previous owner.

These rocks have been sitting in my back deck for several weeks.

My game plan is to make some RODI water to soak overnight and rise before I place them in my tank

I plan to to use these dead (bright white) rocks "as is" for my base and add some live rock and live sand to start the cycle.

2 of these rocks that have a very dark purple dried algae or whatever its called I do not plan on using right away or should I?

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Here are some pictures of the rock

I would soak it for a while longer than just overnight......but that's just me.
