Please be vigilant. Always ask for PayPal Good and services( and read PayPal's terms) or cash on pick up. If they try to communicate via email outside of the club you can bet that he or she is a scammer.
PLEASE DO NOT POST YOUR NUMBER PUBLICLY. They will scour your post history to see what you are interested in and send you a text saying they have the item you are looking for. This is a common scam that has gotten a few of our members. If you are worried, use the search tool to find your number and use the report function to flag the post for deletion.

Just to update - the individual that scammed @ZachMoore44 was banned some time ago back in December and was listed in the Scams for the Holidays. It is unfortunate that Zach got caught up in this individual scam.
Individuals need to start paying with Paypal Goods & Services to have their transaction protected, especially dealing with an unknown seller.

Good idea. Just remember when not using Friends and Family, it is incumbent on the buyer to include the fees so the seller receives the agreed amount. The additional fees are the buyers insurance when dealing with unknown individuals. I myself will continue to use Friends and Family when buying from well known members.
I think it would be better for the seller to list the price to include the PP fee. No confusion and less frustration for the seller when the buyer doesn't add 3% to the listed price.
If people are comfortable with one another and there is a history of transactions another arrangement can be made via PM, text or phone call. But if you've never bought from someone F&F should be out and G&S should be insisted on. Even more so with new & unknown individuals to the site.
It should also be a red flag to all when someone with no post history on this forum PM's you with a deal that is too good to be true. News flash, it isn't true.
