Ok so I have asked a lot of questions about my new tank plumbing and I am happy to say I have a drip free tank. Thanks to everyone that helped.

One more question. I originally bought a mag 12 to use for my return pump. During troubleshooting my issues I put a Quiet One 3000 as the return pump. Now that everything is dialed in should I just leave the Quiet One as the return pump and leave the mag as a saltwater mixer / spare? Thanks.

What's that old saying? Dont fix something that isnt broke?
I would leave it alone if it works.

If the 3000 meets your needs then there is no real reason to change it.
