Hi all! We recently lost our Carpenter's wrasse. It carpet surfed only after I finally got around to adding an eggcrate cover... go figure. I dug the fish, but am wondering about other possibilities now.
Tank is 20G tall, with HOB filter loaded with rubble, 18lbs of LR, 2 Koralia 1s, and 130W PC lighting. Other than a pesky and weird algae issue (neighbor topped off with untreated tap while we were on our honeymoon ) everything is stable and thriving. The tank was setup 11/21/08. The current inhabitants are a Yasha goby / pistol shrimp pair, ORA True Percula Clown, 3 Sexy shrimp, Snails, and a bunch of corals (mostly LPS & Softies).
I really liked the wrasse and am tempted to run out and get another, but I'm curious as to what else may work.
