Im building a 20 gallon long sump and have a question...the sump will be set up from left to right as follows, skimmer/fuge/return. My first baffle will be 9" tall which will then flow into the fuge area, now my question is, do I make the next baffle which will be after my fuge and the first in the bubble trap before the return, a little shorter than 9" to allow for natural flow or keep it at 9"? To me it seems simple, make it shorter but a lot of examples I have been looking at seem to be the same height...
