Sump questions

So the new sump that I picked up came with a removable panel. It looks to me like the panel is there to either have the sump be berlin style or have the main chamber as a fuge. When you slide the panel in through there are leaks on into the bubble trap, should I silicone them in or should I pick up some weld on and make it really permanent? The skimmer is going to be external so I want to use that chamber for a fuge.

If you want it to be permanent with no leaks, use the Weld-on. If you use silicone, if will eventually leak past, even though that would not be a bad problem in this situation.

I like using Weld on 16, takes longer to set but it's easier to use then the 3 or 4.
