Sump Size?

So with this Petco Sale Im already looking to upgrade my IM 40gal AIO. I want a bigger tank. Is there a formula for sump size to display ratio? Like if i go 55 or 70 gallon. What size sump would be good? Also if i do go this route anyone out there willing to help drill some holes in the tank?

Personally I think the largest sump you can fit is best.I have a trigger emerald 26 under my 90gal bowfront but if i could fit it i would have the 34 or even 39

If I go through with getting a bigger tank I will build my own stand. I have some experience with woodworking. So I can build the stand as big as I want it to be. Here is a pic of what I built. It is a laundry basket cabinet.

I like as much room in a sump as i can get. More rooms for stuff down the road and I like to have a large section for the refugium
