Need some help on ideas please, i've been keeping my eye on forums but i'm having trouble finding a plain glass sump to use for the base to build my sump. I'm open to anything at this point... Trying to find something in the $200-$400 range. I'm okay with some DIY but not a tank build.

I'm trying to find something in the 100-150 gallon range, maybe more if i can make it fit. I believe my tank will need between 30 and 50 gallons of available excess based on my tank size of 118" long x 56" wide using http://www.reefcentral.com/index.php/sump-volume">http://www.reefcentral.com/index.php/sump-volume</a>

I'm planning on using an external skimmer and 2 external pumps so the sump is really just for heaters, dosing, mechanical filtration, and i'm not sure what else lol!

anyone make any suggestions that are tried and true?

Thanks!

Some possible solutions:

Standard 125 with diy baffles (72x18x21?), height makes a in stand sump difficult
Deep blue 80 with diy baffles (48x24x16?), probably too little.
Stock tank from tractor supply (ugly, but I have seen it done)

I recently picked up a busted 90 gallon and took it apart, cut it up, and used the pieces to make a custom sump. It was a lot a work (not quite done yet), but well worth it. You could do something similar with a 125 or 150. I would be willing to help.
