sump tin wrong

We got a new tank to day it is a 120 drilled with a sump the problem is I have no idea how to set this up it is made by a company called spectular sea system I can't find a web site so I am going to post a pick maybe someone can tell me how this is suppose to work.

It dosent look that hard i live in Dallas and would be willing to come over and help you
 
That's why I like this club, people stepping up to help each other out.

To quote what bcrueter said "doesn't look to hard"

The larger box is the sump

The smaller rectangular box is the overflow(it goes on the side on the tank and siphons the water to the sump- usually they are connected to a power head or aqualfter pump)

The clear tube is the protein skimmer (a pump injects air and water together and the crude "skims" to the top)

The pipe is most likely the "return" to the tank.

As for putting it all together, there is an infinite number of possiblies and everyone has there own style that they prefer. Once you see one working it will make perfect sense. With these terms you can search this forum and the web to find what you prefer.

oh- I wouldn't get to down about getting water on the floor happens to everyone at least once.

I beg your pardon!!! I have never had water on my floor. Well except the time that....... and the time that....... and then there was....... Oh nevermind.

By the way, welcome to ARC. Your are in for a good time and a lot of hair pulling. :yay:
