Sunpod ?

Ive been looking for a sunpod 30" and im seeing that most links only take you to the sunpod accesories. Ive noticed this for most if not all sizes of it.

Is sunpod no longer making hqi lighting? Is there something comparable?

Maybe I am searching wrong?

If this is the fixture made by current-usa, it does not look like it's still being made. I looked at their website, and they carry bulbs for HQI, but I didn't see any fixtures. Check online (Foster and Smith, MarineDepot) and such sites to see what's available. Then check with local stores and see what prices they can get for you on the fixture you want--they may surprise you on the price!! Good luck finding something!

I have not been able to find new ones either. You can always find used ones on Reefcentral or sometimes on ebay.

No, because they use standard DE halide bulbs. You can use any brand. Most folks replace the POS Current stock bulbs with Phoenix 150 or 250 14Ks, depending on what the original wattage of the Sunpod was, which is either 150 or 250 watts. The only possible issue I could see with replacement bulbs would be if the moonlight LEDs failed.

If you're looking for a current fixture I just took this one down after moving to LED's

It has a Radium 20K bulb whcih was use for 6 months, a BNIB spare PC Actinic Bulb and spare BNIB replacement ballast (i kept these on hand just in case)

Looking for $175 for everything OBO.
