So I bought a turbo for a little 4g that was full of algae. I was almost giving up on the tank I could not clear it, but the turbo had it spotless in a week. So I can either just return to the fish store or if possible feed him something so he doesn't nuke my little tank. Which would you do?

nori green seawood sheets from any grocery store that sells fresh sushi.....

You can also buy packs of nori at any asian foods store for really cheap. Few bucks for fifty sheets. Personally, if your algae is in check, and it is a mexican turbo (big), I would return it and get a few smaller snails. I named my last mexican turbo "dozer" due to knocking stuff over. But if you like it then keep it.

I bet it would eat flakes/left over food of any kind and be fine.
