Has anyone used a SubCurrent Surface Skimmer ? If so please let me know what you thought of it.

I had one on my 26 gallon. I thought it was okay. The suction cups never really did seem to stay on the glass(I had to replace them often). When the suction cups came off the wall it would slide above the water, flooding the tank with air. It didn't really skim as much as I thought it would...as the filter part, it did a good job! I also had a HOB filter though. In the end, I was glad to get rid of it!

+1. Only did a fair job and the suction cups were not best. I prefer alot of surface water movement and an good overflow.

Maybe try this:

I used one on a good 10g setup. Worked good for what I wanted it to do, definitely not enough flow for the tank. I just wanted to keep the surface film off without having to go to a sump setup and drill the tank. It also provided a great place to run filter floss and carbon. ATO is definitely needed since it will blow bubbles when the water level gets low.
