Survey of MH Lamps

Which is better, Reeflux 20K or Radium 20K MH lamps if you prefer a blue tint in the tank?

I'm a real big fan of Radium.. Granted I have no experience with Reeflux bulbs..

I personally only use Radiums. I have used the Reeflux in the past, they are ok, but radiums are better.

Reeflux 20K bulbs are not as blue as Radium 20Ks, and Radium 20Ks are not as blue as Helios 20Ks. This is rendition only.

There are other factors to consider besides that, though, like PAR, etc. I use Radium 20Ks because with my ballast, they have great PAR along with a pleasing blue color. I would use Helios, but their PAR numbers are weak compared to Radiums on my CoralVue E-ballasts.

OP what ballast are you running. IME if you have a ballast that will fire the Radium than by all means run Radium.
