It was a response to a member's build thread. If I am a member shouldn't I be able to post anywhere?

Paying members are the only ones who can reply in the member forums. As a user you can reply in other areas just not the member areas.

Are you sure this is true? I think they are still viewable, only posting is restricted. I can see the BoD/Committee Discussion even though I can't post.

Or is this different for users vs. members?
