SW mix question

Quick question. I have mixed SW ready for the past 7 days....I usually mix up RODI/Salt mix and use in about 2 days - is 7 days too long? Should I mix up a new batch? Thx.

Should be fine. A quick like salinity, ph etc wouldnt hurt. I think as long as you keep it circulating all should be fine.

Cool, thanks. It is heated and has a MJ 1200 circulating. Salinity is good. I will check the PH.

I would check KH too. Some of my mix was testing high, but it was sitting for about 5 days. The threoy was that is the O2 exchange wasnt great enough, co2 was high or had rissen, the bicarbonates were breaking down, raising KH.

Dunno how true it is, but worth a check.
