Switching salt

I am currently using red sea coral pro and was given 2, 5 gallon buckets of seachem reef salt . Would it cause any issues if I switch to the seachem when I run out of coral pro? Thanks in advance

I would consider mixing for a time rather than sudden switch

I don't know that it will cause a problem but when I went from IO to Kent I did mix them together at about a 50/50 ratio just to make sure.

Thanks for the suggestions , I will slowly mix it in with the coral pro   if I decide to continue using it  or possibly just stick with coral pro  and find another use for it .

I've been contemplating the salt switching too, once I get done with about 4 IO boxes that I got. Willing to try because for some reason it doesn't seem that I could maintain certain corals, not even coralline, it will start developing for a couple months  then it will recede. Either I could consider dosing or I'll get a better salt mix.
