Last I remeber these corals where on the ultra rare limited collection and export list out of Australia. Something like 20 or so per year, rare. They were fetching prices of $500-1500 retail. Is that still the case?

I'm pretty sure theirs alot more of them being imported now. But some of them still go for crazy prices. I did a search and someone on this fourm had one for sale for pretty cheap.

If that sale was in 2011 I highly, highly doubt that was a true specimen. They were for a fact still being highly regulated then.

All the ones I've seen sell recently were pretty crazy expensive($500 and up). One of my favorite corals. I hope to get my hands on one soon

There's one that's been sitting at the shop for a while now. Red orange green and white. They aren't very hard to get from what I see but I don't get them often because of price.

Any chance you could snap a photo?

It is a symphyllia, but a different species. If it's the same one I think it is those are fairly common
