T-5 bulbs

OK I just joined the T-5 club and want yall's opion of the best brand ,and color bulbs to use.
My lights are 54" with standard ballasts.The tank is 31" tall.
We only have LPS's,and softies at the moment,but may want to get some SPS's in the future.

I use UVLighting super actinic, giesemann aquablue+ and actinic+.

You mean 54 watts? Non-HO T5 may not be enough to support corals in a 31" tank.

But I liked ATI Aquablue Special and Blue+ bulbs when I had my T5's.

I'm sure there are some experts here as well, but look up "grimmreefer" on RC. ummmmm he's the t5 man. Very helpful

let us know what you find. i have a 30gal with T5-HO's as well and been wondering the same thing.

I usually like to go with giesemann atinic+ and aquablue+...

New bulbs I started carrying a few months back. Very immpressed with the output and color spectrum. The par levels are up there with ATI and Giesemann
