T5 lighting bulb combo????

Ok I am getting all ATI bulbs for my Cube
I have a total of 8 24" bulbs over the tank.
I was thinking of running 3 blue plus bulbs,
2 Actinic bulbs, and 3 12,000k bulbs.
Anyone that has a better combo to run let me know.
I was told to run a lot more blue than anything else.
New to T5's so I am open to suggestion here

So you probably would want a 20K look...IMO I would stick with what you mentioned, except maybe throw in an oddball like a fiji purple in the mix instead of one of the 12k's.

To me it is more a matter of what will make my corals grow the best

LOL, I have been agreeing with you too much lately. Yes I would definetly try and get a 6500k in a 6 or 8 bulb fixture.

I'd throw in an Aquasun or Procolor, something in the 10k range, along with an ATI Aquablue Special, a Fiji Purple, and the rest actinic (both 420nm and 460nm spectrums).
