I have a BioCube 32 that has been running for a bit over a year. Love the system, but it has served its purpose, and I need to save time now that I have a bigger system. Couple of questions:

1. The two standard clowns, can I move them to the other tank if it has two clowns in there already? Kids love the Nemo’s.

2. Thoughts on relocating coral that is encrusted on rock?

3. Sell or keep system as backup?

any other tips are welcomed.

Two pairs of clowns in a small tank is very risky. I could go through all the possible scenarios/questions, but to keep it short, i strongly recommend keeping them separated. You wont realize just how viscious clowns can be until you put them in a situation where they need to be. Damsels generally dont like conspecifics.

For relocating coral, thats a personal preference. Is there enough room in the 2nd tank for the coral? Are there any pests in tank #1 that you dont want in tank #2?

I would keep the old system as a backup, which can also double as a QT or a hospital tank if ever needed. You will be able to pull it out, fill it with water, and begin solving whatever problem you are facing immediately and cheaply... rather than paying a premium while having to wait hours/days to get a new tank to solve an issue.
