So I'm new around these parts.. and i thought i would give the start of a tank introduction. I'm going to start with equipment, since my lights are out today and tomorrow while I battle cyanobacteria.
IN the sump :
ER CS6+-2 skimmer
Tunze Osmolator ATO
Media reactor for GFO (when needed) from http://www.bulkreefsupply.com">www.bulkreefsupply.com</a>
Kalk stirrer in line with ATO from [IMG]http://www.aquaticsystemsdesign.com">www.aquaticsystemsdesign.com</a>
Mag 9.5 return pump
Lighting:
Aquactinics Constellation 7x58w T5
Circulation
2 x Vorteh MP40ws (one on each end of the tank). I normally run them in reef crest mode
The stand was built me and my father. The doors actually detach from the left end and the front right. They are held in place by magnets when installed.
You'll notice I made the left end of the tank the electrical area. It is closed off from the "wet" sump area. I just never liked the idea of all those plugs being right there with all that moving water and humidity.
I guess my next purchase will be a controller. To help time lights, kalk stirrer, and monitor all sorts of things!
Let me know if you have any ?s
Have a nice day everyone
