Hello everyone,

Anyone know of a person or shop that reseals tanks? I have a 180 gallon bow front that I'd like to get resealed. No leaks, its just an older tank. I'd also like to add the weir back that was removed and sealed off with a piece of glass. Figured this would be the best time to do both.

Ill save you some time. No one will do this for you. This is something you either do yourself or just buy a new tank.

No one is going to take the responsibility for resealing an old tank for cheap enough to make it worth while.

That said, a quick reseal isnt a big deal. You can find lots of videos on how to do it. Adding back the weir is also decently easy IF you have the parts. If you dont have those parts you will have to make them yourself, or you get back into the "just get a new tank" territory of cost.

That bad huh! I was afraid of that being the answer. I do have the tools and have done it before however its more so the time for me. Then again, as you said a new tank may be another option. Haven't had much luck find another bow front in this size new so custom would probably be the route id have to take if I decided to keep it.
