You can't easily use the forum-based smileys, but if your phone has a special character keyboard you should be able to use the usual ones:











And maybe some special ones:

The new tapatalk is a real dog of a release. Seems like every 3-4 days the 'unread' forum stops refreshing. The only way to fix for me is to remove the whole app and reinstall. Anybody else having this issue?

About once or twice a day my tap talk will say there are 484 unread thread. I refresh and it says 2. LOL.


I know you all think I have no heart but now I have an ultrasound to prove it.

Yeah, tapatalk is going down a bad road. Checked their forums for a fix and they are filled with rants on their problems and future direction ... can't wait for the ad pop-ups, usage tracking, etc. They figure they'll make more $ pimping ads and selling your usage patterns/history than charging $5 for their app.

Once I see their first popup - I'm surely done with their POS app.

For the refresh issue go to the settings on the main screen, scroll to the bottom, and clear cache. Should resolve many of your problems. Did for me.
