I just made some RO/DI up and tested when finished. The reading on my TDS meter came back as 021 ppm. Is this an acceptable range? In the past it has always been 0 so I am assuming it is time for a filter replacement. Can I use this in the meantime or do I need to make a trip to the local store?

NO I would not go ANY higher than .05 or .06 After that you start getting into the "crappy" water meaning that their is not point in using Ro/Di water at that point. My water going into the Ro unit is .32(gwinnett) and it is .00 going out.

I tested the water again from the filter and it registered 0. I filtered the water into a container I had just used for holding saltwater. When I took the reading from there, I was getting 020, but when I turned the filter back on and took the reading from a clean glass, it was reading 0 again. Even though the container was empty, could the salt cause a higher reading?
