i normally feed my fish 2-3 times a day..a few pellets each time..i have 2 clowns, a yellow watchman and a mccosker wrasse

when i go out of town i usually have someone come feed them

on thursday morning i will be going to NC and i will be coming back friday night

all of the people i normally get to feed my fish are going out of town the same days

since they normally dont eat with lights out this probably means if i didnt feed them thursday theyd go from wednesday night around 11 pm until friday night around 7 pm without food...do you guys think this will stress them out since they normally get fed 2-3 times a day or would they be ok with this?

i know some people feed theirs only a few times a week but this isnt their normal routine....there are pods for the wrasse to eat if he wants but im still a bit worried

should i try and find someone to feed?

They won't starve in a couple of days.

When you get back, resist the urge to overcompensate. Just pick up where you left off. -JMHO

Since you feed pellets you could use a automatic feeder! Fill it lightly for maybe 2x a day for 2 days, that way if it goes crazy they would not get so much. If you got it today you could watch and see how it does the next few days. :D

Eheim feeder works great with pellets. I use one to dump in a few small pellets twice a day everyday, even though I feed frozen mysis as well. When I'm gone, the fish still get the pellets they are used to even if I don't have someone come feed them the frozen.

Im pretty sure your fish will be okay, even when i got rid of my feeder, my fish managed to find things in the tank to hold them over, whether it be algae or w/e i came back to a bunch of lip marks all over my glass from my flame angel eating everything growing on my glass ha.... but they can go a while without food, like said before they'll find something to hold themselves over

Given them a day of fasting. Nothing bad will happen. If you put an auto feeder on without sufficient time to test/adjust it you risk more problems than if you have them skip a meal or two.
