I have a PFO Acrolight 2X400 with polished aluminum reflectors, but i'm thinking about laying mirrors to improve the light. Would mirrors actually melt if it's so close to the 400w bulbs? I'm thinking only tempered glass would do but i could be wrong. And how about the silver coating on the back of the mirror, can it take the heat of the lamp?
I can cut the glass with no problem, just need help on wether it would work.
