Think it will come back?

This was a nice green birdsnest fell against it. Two days ago it was all white. Tonight I think I see it starting to come back. Any bets?

I bet yes.. Had that happen to one of mine, fell in the rocks got it days later looked completely dead. So i just left it in the tank. Its been two weeks and it has full polyp extension and bits of color coming back.

I did that over night. But in lower right you can see polyps a few others in the center of the colony have tiny ones as well. You just can't see them in the picture.

Put it low in the tank and give it a little bit to try... can't hurt. The whole thing might not survive but some could..

The last two days I was sure it was a goner which is why I didn't even bother to ask. But when I saw it tonight I was pleasantly surprised.

I've got one that did the same thing sitting on the counter in my garage. It had a few polyps still showing, so I left it in the tank for about a week and it only turned more white. Not to say the same will happen to yours, but my guess is, it's very likely.

Don't hold your breath...
