Thought my water was clear

Tank looked good and and corals are super happy. I've had a brs mini reactor for some time and decided to run carbon for a few days. This was more of a precautionary thing in case anything metal's wise has built up over a year and a half. Funny thing is my tank "looked" clear before. Plan on running it for the week and taking it out..keeping an eye on parameters, so far so good. Probably something I should run every couple of months in case. Anyhoo, just thought I would share.

Carbon is excellent. I used to run gfo and carbon in a brs reactor. Now just carbon passively in some nylon bags. It really does make a big difference.

I love carbon, I have found that I have issues with brs carbon if I use too much of it. I guess because the ROX carbon is so small and fine, there is more surface area and a little goes a long way. Still amazing stuff though.
