its a rodi system I am looking at

I would skip the horizontal DI, they are not as efficient.
Three horizontal dis should tell you something. One vertical would replace those.

Edit: Also those filter ratings for 1000 gal they will be toast after 200 gal of good water, if it works right 4:1.

This would be a much better system.

I agree with Jaycen, I like the air water ice, the filter guys, or BRS 75 gpd plus unit. I have the BRS unit.

Run away, Run away!

Watch for cheap fittings on RODI units. I bought one on Ebay from filter direct and it started leaking like crazy. I would have to unscrew the fittings, readjust, then if I looked at it wrong it would begin leaking. I ended up so frustrated I threw the sucker in the trash.

We have the highest quality RODI units in stock at all times. Come see us and we'll go over the three models with you. You don't want to skimp on the RODI unit; it'll last you forever if you buy the right one to begin with.

+1

I see you're shopping for a lot of things. Buy cheap=buy twice.
You're system/setup is like a steel chain. It's only as strong as it's weakest link.

I bought the cheap purewaterclub one, ordered all new quality fittings from the beginning and replaced before putting it in action.
Never any issues - but I could have bought a better one with the right fittings for only a few bucks more and saved me some labor time...

+1. I did the same... and for the cost of "fixing" the thing (which I did) I could have almost paid for a new AWI unit. If you factor in the original cost, it cost me MORE to buy the PWC unit and then alter it to the way they should have sold it in the first place than it would have to buy an AWI unit and save myself the headache.

If it tells you anything about the cheapie RO/DI units, the only parts I didn't end up replacing with quality ones are the canisters and the bracket.

Thanks, all for your advice. I left my old RODI outside last week and it froze and got all busted up, I just orderd that air water ice filter... we will see how well it works.

still looking for a UV filter. May end up getting that emperor
