Curious as to how much time on average everyone spends each week doing various water tests on their tanks. Some of the tests we have started recently take 10-17 minutes to run just once.

I said 30 minutes but it could be more than that I suppose but it's temporary. Normally I test both systems on the weekends - Alk & Calcium. Both tests combined take 10 minutes or less. If things are looking good, I only test NO3, Mg and PO4 once a month or so but I'm currently having some issues and that adds a few test a week to make sure none of my "Corrective actions" screw anything up.

Nitrates takes the longest for me...without any screw-ups takes about 11-12mins.
Phosphates - 4min
Magnesium - 3/4min
Calcium - 2/3min
Alk - 1min

Between getting water sample and cleaning testing equipment to make sure there are no contaminations takes about just as long for me.

None right now, trident for big 3 and icp tests for everything else. I’ll probably test phos every once in a while but I’ve been reading 0 lately... want to get it up a bit
