I am looking for a very nice digital timer, to control lights etc....any recommendations?:yay:

Reefkeeper Lite. You can control lights, have stages for actinic/daylight/moonlight, set up alarms so your lights turn off it the temp rises too high, etc. <$100

I think I'm going to have to add that to my want list for my 95 gallon tank...just one more thing I need. :lol2:

I use a Coralife Power Center... this has three sets of outlets 1) One of the Daylights 2) One for Antics (dusk/ dawn effect) 3) and one of the moon lights. Each has a timer and is very easy to setup.

I think that the Coralife costs $25 dollars.

Yes I was reading some reviews and I like it alot....think I will get it..thanks great advice!!!!

Well let me ask this, What level of reefkeeper lite do most people own, Level 1 looked pretty good to me

I have the L3, but had more than 4 outlets, and wanted to control my kalk dosing with pH monitoring.

If you want timers, the L1 is a great starting point. If you expand your system and find you need more outlets, or more control, or just want more "stuff" it's expandable to a total of 4 modules.

I've been running my Reefkeeper Lite since May of last year and can't imaging running a reef tank without it now.

unless you are going to have a reef controller for the timer, digital timers SUCK, i bought some at home depot and even used the ones that Hamilton makes.....i returned the all and got the 2 dollar regular timers and they have never let me down
