Good idea.

There's also a really small mag float (it's just over an inch) that's positively useless for cleaning because the magnet is way too small, but it's the perfect size and strength for this mod.

I just just tie a small piece of fishing string around a small piece of LR and then tie the other end to the center brace and let it hang. The tangs go crazy whe they see me pull it out to put the nori on.

they sell these at marine depot. been using them for years. I just snip the long rod to about an inch.
