I purchased a lemon peel angel on Tuesday. It does not seem to be eating in of the coral but it is definitely disturbing a few select corals. There is a montipora that it is disturbing and a group of zoas. All other corals it seems to be leaving alone. MOre than anything it seems to be licking rather than taking chunks off of these corals. Will they get accustomed to it or do I need to return the fish?
Thanks for the suggestions.

Agree with heathlinder25. Please research before buying. Lemonpeels are notorious coral munchers.

My respectful suggestion is to pick up a copy of http://www.amazon.com/PocketExpert-Guide-Marine-Fishes-Essential-To-Know/dp/1890087386/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1401025003&sr=8-1&keywords=pocket+expert+guide+to+marine+fishes%2C+scott+michael">A PocketExpert Guide to Marine Fishes: 500+ Essential-To-Know Aquarium Species: Scott W. Carry it with you when you shop - you can look up anything you're looking to purchase in less time than it would take the clerk to bag it up.

I used to keep a copy on my counter and we used it multiple times a day.

Hey Spardoin, I live away from Atlanta and cannot always trust the local lfs for good advise. If I go shopping I have developed a habit of checking anything I am considering through LiveAquaria.

I have been told more than once that a fish was appropriate for a 90 gallon reef tank only to find info quickly that contradicts the salesperson on the size requirement or safety with coral.

Most of the time it was not malicious, the store I frequent has a lot of younger employees that are not really into the hobby.

+1. Anytime i am at a LFS and i see a fish i am not familiar with, i will google it. Usually LiveAquaria is the first link that comes up. Also, several forum discussions are usually included in the search, and more often than not, you can find the answers you're looking for pretty quickly.
