Got the 90 up and running. Mag Drive 9.5 for return, and two Koralia 4 power heads (1200 gph each end of the tank pointed toward the front middle of the tank. (No sand storm)

Added first fish yesterday (3 Cardinals)... they sought refuge behind the rocks. Today I added two false percs. It looks like they are being pushed to one corner of the tank.

Do I have too much flow? Will the fish acclimate to the current?

Sorry... another newbie question!

My Ocellaris get right in front of my Koralia 4's and swim like mad in the current... must be great fun for them. I think of it as a treadmill for fish.

I've recently switched my 9.5 return for a 5, but other than that it sounds like our flow is the same... at least it was before the pump switch. My Bangaii and PJs are fine too, they just stay out of the main flow stream.
I bet you're just fine!

Thanks for the responses. I've been building this thing for three month... But the questions change and seem more important now that I've "gone live"!

I have two Vortech MP40's on my 90, one on each side, for almost 6,000gph of flow. The corals seem to love it, although several have been rocked back & forth by the wave action enough to fall off the rocks (even though they were epoxied in place).
