so,
Im in the process of moving to birmingham and will have to leave my bc29 in chattanooga until the 45jbj is cycled..since i wont be able to come back up all the time im filling a 5gal bucket for my rodi(usually use around a gallon a week) and was wondering how the topoff water will hold up in the bucket..should i add a small powerhead to keep the water circulating or would an air pump with a stone keep it from going stale??

Frankly....I don't have anything in mine and it will hold up to 15 gallons. I go through about 2 gallons a day and never gave it any thought.

If it is good RODI, it shouldn't go bad B/C in theory there isn't anything in it to go bad. Keep it sealed in a clean BPA free container, you should be alright for that amount of time.

It's not a bad idea to mix it up to aerate it some, before you use it.

Many people don't, but in a small tank, you don't want a sudden drop in oxygen.

i just keep my top off water in a 5 gallon bucket

I store mine in used plastic milk jugs. Never had any issues. I also leave it in my brute for a week before juggling it up. ???
