Ok question when a torch coral goes to the "bathroom" am I supposed to get it off or will it naturally untangle from itself? I feel like I am really disturbing it when I try and get it off thanks

Ask yourself this, is there anyone in the ocean, helping the creatures go poo?
I'm thinking not. It'll deal with it in due time.

Haha this is true didn't no if rules changed when inside a controlled ecosystem. Thanks Tony

They will excreete mucus which in doing so allows any impurities that are attached to them come off

In some regards, yes. There are things that we must step in and assist with.
Filtration, water changes, dosing, etc...Simply because our little oceans do not have the resources to do these things on their own.

Assistance using the restroom is not one of them.
Personally, that's something that corals and I have in common.
We both would rather be left alone while answering nature's call. Assistance while pooing only stresses me out. :confused2:

don't mess with it.
this shouldn't happen a lot btw... unless something weird is going on
