Id love to ask for a cutting of that variegated pothos sometime. If you like plants, id be happy to share some of mine too if you want.
Yes sir!!! I went all out! It is amazing I am loving the Neptune systemHi and welcome to ARC.
In the 2nd pic above. Is that a refugium light? Looks like the Neptune Fuge light.

It would be a good idea to turn that light off and not use it for any length of time over your sump. That specific light is designed to grow macro algae in a refugium but it will grow just about any algae just as well. Without a refugium in the sump for the light to be focused over, the skimmer and the walls of the sump will get covered in film & GHA in no time which will turn into a pain to keep clean.Yes sir!!! Hi Adam, I do have a refugium it is in the back on the sump. The sump is 4 parts, Filter, UV and Skimmer, Refugium with some Stuff in it then the return. I have noticed an increase in algae in the sump. I might need to adjust the light some. If you like the light output for viewing when the door is open you could hook up a switch through the Apex with a Breakout Box that will turn it on when the door is opened and off when shut. You can hookup any other light to work the same way if you choose to go with a different one.
Your tank is really looking good and I love the NCC-1701-A in there. What is the other ship under the rocks to the right? I can't quite make it out in the pic.
Try to get the light directly over the refugium chamber. You can also make light shields out of thin black plastic sheet. Once 90% or more of the light is going into the fuge chamber only you may need to work on adjusting the intensity of the fixture. Start lower and slowly ramp it up.Hi Adam, I do have a refugium it is in the back on the sump. The sump is 4 parts, Filter, UV and Skimmer, Refugium with some Stuff in it then the return.
