I thought I saw something about this while browsing some old threads. Does this still happen or was it ended?

I was just wondering about that too. I missed it when I was in the hobby a few years ago and really want to see some tanks now that I've moved into Atlanta.

Haha... Me too!!! I wanted to see how other people are running their set up so I can improve ours.

It's been a while since we've had one. I did one in a while ago and tried to do another but got very little support. Lots of people want to go on these but very few want to be a stop. So it's hard to do a good tour with two or three stops. A good one needs 4-6.

This would be a good thing to have. I always enjoy seeing other people's tanks as well as having them critique mine.

I've organized a ToTs before;

A great Tour of Tanks includes stops at members tanks, a sponsor or two, and time taken to meet and eat at least one meal either during or directly afterwards.

Just mho.......

Critique as in "dang, I wish I had a tank like this". That's all you're going to hear about your set-up. There's nothing else to critique man...

Seth the last one I did was on the west side. We went to my house, JohnR2604's, LilRobb's Kelloggreef, and Jame S' big monster so that was kennesaw, Dallas, acworth x2, and ball ground.

If my house wasn't a complete pit because of the move I'd gladly be a stop. Once I get settled in the new place and if this is still up I'm in.

I will start a poll in the members section and see which area gets the most attention. Would most likely not be till November till we would have it.

Colin, I voted in your poll. Tour of tanks is a great concept. I went on one sometime the first year I was a member here. It was a lot of fun. I know they are logistic nightmares to set up. I am sure that getting tanks lined up for viewing is problematic as well.

I would volunteer to show off my tank but I think 300 gallons of cycling rock would be a bit boring to look at. :yes:

Thanks. It is coming along nicely.

This was my most recent tour on a day off... That was just to LFSs...
