Everyday I feed at the same time and in the exact same spot. I use one of the small measuring cups that comes with the BRS dosing pumps and I put a small amount of water in it and pour in a couple scoops of ELOS pellets. I then administer the food. I can even dip the cup into the tank and the fish will swim into it to get the pellets. This week alone I caught a solarensis wrasse, barltett anthia, and perc.

Just saying that you never know when you'll need to get a fish out.

The one fish I'd like to remove (my Pajama Cardinal) doesn't go near the cup. Go figure.

No problems. He is quite large for cardinal standards, and I just hate to waste the bioload on a fish that really doesn't provide any benefit to the reef. At least if they don't do a job I'm ok with a fish that looks great or is fun to watch. The PJ cardinal is neither. I'd prefer to swap him out for a Midas Blenny, CBB, dragonface pipefish, or maybe another wrasse.

When catching fish you need to remember rule #1 which states: "Murphy was an optimist". Nuff Said.
