Trash Algae

In addition to red algae I have this dull green/brown trashy looking algae (assuming it's algae) throughout my tank? I recently did a 25% water chang and vacuumed the sand bed. Leaving town for a week in a few days. Advice on how to proceed would be helpful. Thanks!

I personally find occasional Blackouts (2-3 days in length) help monitor certain algae. Think of it- in the ocean, the ecosystem does not receive 100% sunny, clear days. I think the cloudy/overcast days play an important role in controlling algae population.
