1- Tunze 6095 are controllable via Apex?

2- Any one local carry Tunze products?

3- I cant seem to find any reason not to go with the Tunze pumps right ??

1. Yep! You need a full Apex base module (not the Lite or Jr.) OR the Apex VDM add on module to your Lite or Jr. - Also reccomend getting the Apex dual Streams cable (~$20) to make the hookups easy. You can turn the pump on and off and vary the speed from 30-100%, all from your Apex.

2. I can't help you there but I'm sure there are.

3. I have been using Streams pumps for 8+ years and really love the dual 6105s I have in my 210. They provide a decent flow throughout my tank. Their support is excellent too. Your other option is EcoTech Vortex wireless pumps with a Apex WXM. Many people rave about their Vortech pumps too.

Thanks for the info! Yup got a full Apex... and really like the Tunze design and reports of noise level/quality.


Now if i could only find them locally??
