Just a reminder to dip and inspect your corals before you put in your tank! Found this little guy on one of the corals I picked up at the expo today. Not sure which of the vendors it came from as I got something from most of them but glad I spotted him.

Anyone want it for a sump? If not he's going to be taking a trip down the porcelain express!

Eek. Good catch! I cant express how important is is to dip new corals! Im sure the vendor didnt know it was on there and if you wouldn't have dipped...

Is that an acro crab ? If so he's pretty safe just eating slime off acropora and May not bee a bad hitchhiker but better safe than sorry .. got eye I dipped everything and got no surprises

I'm sure they didn't either.... didn't meant that in a bad way towards any of the vendors! I picked up some great corals and just got lucky I noticed something moving while the corals were in the dip! Just wanted to pass on the reminder!

I thought it was an emerald at first but looks more like a gorilla then anything.... Right now its in a container in my QT if someone wants it. Not a fan of disposing of it, but it's not something i want in my system!

It really does look like a safe Arco crab, goggle it.
I've keep them in my system whenever stumbled upon with no problems.
