Here are some shots of the reef in it's current state. Lights are actinic 454 VHO, super actinic VHO and 4002 20K XM. I've got a Radium on the way, shouldn't be too much different, just wanted to try it and the XM is 7 months old. Anyway I hope you enjoy the shots.

He glued the rock with the coral on it to a mag float. That way he can move the coral up and down the tank to suite lighting needs. I have mine the same. Great idea.

Thanks for the kind words! yeah that montipora is starting to get out of controll. I like to keep the caps on mags so they don't cover up other corals when they start to get big. Plus they are easy to frag since i can just reach in there and grab the colony.

Your cube is rockin'. Looks really nice. My cube is all acans/anemone/blasto as well.

WOW, I need to make a trip down there to look at it. Come to think about it, we are driving to Orlando around the holidays...

Drool! The top pick is one off of the garf colony they brought in a long time ago

Thank you everyone fo your kind words. i can't wait for my acro colonies to grow out a bit. Things will look much better then. I'm getting great colors and growth now. 95% of my cal and alk needs are taken care of via Kalkwasser top off. I evaporate almost 2 gallons a day and that's replenished with saturated kalk. I add BRS mag, dose cal and alk from BRS when needed which is rare.

Params. are:

Temp 79
PH 8.3
Cal 420
Alk 8-9
Mag 1320
P04 < .05

I run my 400W Radium 6hrs a day and my actinics 9hrs a day.
Fish are heavily fed and My skimmer is rated for double my water volume.

Change 5g a week with RC.

Again, thanks for the kind words.

Jason
