Holy crap is it bright. I was using an old retrofit built into the canopy with 2 250 watt coralvue 14ks. I grabbed 2 Lumenbright minis and 2 Radium 20ks and the difference is ridiculous.

Only problem is the light seems to lose intensity around the edges of the tank, as if its spread isn't quite making it, but I have the light fixture as high as possible in the canopy. Any reason to worry?

Also, how should I acclimate the corals to the new light? I was running the old setup with the MH running 8 hours a day. Should I drop that back to 4-5 at first?

hmmm. I wish I can answer your first question but without seeing how your tank is setup and how your rock work is, its really hard to tell. As for acclimating the corals go. I think you drop about 3 to 3.5 hours from your normal light cycle and increase it by half an hour a week. It may take some time to get back up to your normal 8 hours a day but you know how they say it. Better safe then sorry! I learned that the hard way

Lumenbright's tend to have a lot of penetration power down into the water and not a lot of spread, the Mini Wides have a lot more spread and I can only imagine a little less penetration.
