Using Chemiclean Tips and Pointers?

Using Chemiclean for the first time on my tank and I have read the directions of course but I was wondering if anyone had any other tips and tricks?

I prefer Ultralife Red Slime Remover.

Much less volatile, IMO and I've even used it with clams and SPS.
