So I just set up a 40 watt Emperor Aquatics UV Sterilizer. My flow rate is 90 gallons every 45 minutes. I would like to slow it down to 90 gallons per hour to kill ich but this will work for now. You can see by the picture that it was more of a rats nest project. Any tips from ya'll experienced Reefers?

Forgot to mention, I have my Ehiem pump supplying the UV in the sump and the return from the UV going back into the sump but I have the flow pointed down towards the return nozzle that returns back to the tank.

Found it quite interesting that the UV dwarfed your sump. You will probably get a bunch of different opinions on UV from different people. Slower the flow, more likely to kill FREE FLOATING parasites like ick etc.
