Very shy Foxface

I added a Foxface to my tank about two weeks ago and it spends most of the time hiding behind the rocks. When it does come out, it is in defense mode - brown with the spines on its back up- I have a Flame Hawk, a Coral Beauty Angel and a few Chromis'.

Is this normal, is it an introvert or is it just a chicken?

Mine did that for a while until they got comfortable. I wouldnt worry too much about it at this point.

I had one that did the same thing. It wouldn't come out and when it was behind the rock, it had some stressed out coloration going on.

Well mine didn't end up making it, but I attribute that to the fish store I got it from.

My foxface did the very same thing. Once he gets used to seeing you a bit more... he'll be fine.
