Via Aqua cc25

I have a via aqua chiller..1/4 horse..It is chilling but not as it should..I think it needs to be charged. I took the cover off of it and looked around for some fittings but to no avail it doesnt have any..It takes R-134a coolant..It seems to be a sealed unit as it has a high side hose welded shut..does anyone know where to get this thing recharged?

You can recharge it with an auto kit, since they use R134, don't know if the fittings will be the same.

It doesn't have any fittings. It appears to be a unit that was vacuum charged and them soldered shut..

Oh. Well an A/C tech should be able to cut the piping and install fittings.

These are sealed units, like fridges etc. Get an a/c person open it up and solder in a charge fitting. Make sure that you pull a vacuum before you charge it back up.
