So i came home and notice my red light is blinking on one of my mp40's es. I obviously read the manual and decided I would start with a vinnegar bath of the wetside. Well here i am three days later and still cant get it to function....anyon got any thoughts as to why the red light is blinking or should i take apart the wet side?

Any thoughts or help would be great...

check the ecotech website, the manual that you get in the box sucks. Theres like a 40 page manual online

Its blinking in the stall position but ive read the online manual too, so should i disassemble the wet side? as the vinnegar bath obviously didnt resolve the issue

Naw, just set the wet side face down in it...not quite sure how to disassemble the wet side

its not hard there is a video on the vortech website. Really simple and really no chance of messsing things up. GFI

I had the same issue. I switched my wetside to the other Vortech to make sure that wasn't the issue. I emailed Vortech and they came to the conclusion that I had a bad bearing in the dryside. Thank goodness it was still under warranty!

Yeah i just replaced the wet side with a new one from my upgrade and ill be sending this one off. I got it to work by disassembling it but it now its loud and looks like it wobbles.

Man you just seem to have the worst luck with stuff failing on you in this hobby. Tell ya what just bring it all over here and I'll get it working right ;)

I took the back off, it looks like the lil philips screw looking thing is snapped off inside the magnet so when i put it in, it just spins funny....so hoping this is under warranty and ill be sending it back

Haha! I left town to go visit my dad last thursday and when I got there I noticed my Apex was telling me that one of my vortechs was stalled too...

Same issue. I just did a vinegar bath on the wetside, so I'll be sending it all in and hoping for the best.

I think between the two of us, we've run through just about everything that can go wrong in this hobby in the span of one year.

grant hit me up tom and let me know the process...and i can agree with that, ha
