Vortech MP15 powerhead

So I paired a spare MP10 dry side with a spare MP20 driver and power supply...

Seems to be working just fine - I read that Ecotech doesn't recommend this setup, however checking voltage etc to the dry side is comparable to the original MP10 driver.
Anyone ever played with that setup before?

And of course there is no MP15, I completely made that up...

What about the amperage, wouldn't it get hot

Can't measure, but it is now running for hours without getting hot (normal warm, though)

Should sell me the dry side . But how did you end up with an extra dry side? We have lots of wet side to spare but never a dey

I bought a box full of Ecotech parts - one of them was a spare MP10 dry side...

You just need to know where to look...

I need a wet side now to test this baby for flow - I can't tell whether rpm is good or not...
